DISC GOLF LEAGUE (Ages: 16 and up)
Do you think you have what it takes to play disc golf? Join the Macomb Park District Disc Golf League. The league will start Thursday, September 4th at 5:30 pm at the Everwood Disc Golf Course. TUESDAY MORNING POTTERY (16 and up)
Morning people unite! Tuesday Morning Pottery class brings the morning bunch together to make great clay projects. Discover the challenge of clay in this six week clay session. This is a step-by-step program especially for the beginning potter. Help reduce your stress by exploring your creativity with this movable medium. Everything you need is provided: clay, use of brushes and tools, bisque and glaze kiln firing, instruction, and day and evening lab hours. Maximum of 10 participants per session. FIRST AID FOR LITTLE PEOPLE (Grades: 1 - 6)
It never hurts to take precautions when it comes to safety. In First Aid for Little People, children will be exposed to procedures that will enable them to act correctly in emergency situations. This American Red Cross class teaches children the basic health and safety tips focusing on shock, bleeding, choking, the Heimlich maneuver, burns, poisons and much more! Upon completion of the class a Red Cross certificate will be received. Instructor: Leann DeJoode

CLAY TWO (Ages: 16 and up)
Clay Two is for the person with previous experience with clay. Hand building and wheel throwing are taught with your goals in mind. Emphasis is placed on improving clay techniques and increasing knowledge of techniques and materials. Everything you need is provided: clay, use of brushes and tools, bisque and glaze kiln firing, instruction, and day and evening lab hours. This is a six week class. Maximum of 10 participants. CLAY EXPLORERS CENTRAL AND SOUTH AMERICA (Grades: 4 - 6)
Get ready to explore clay from our Central and South American neighbors. This six week clay program will challenge you to make a llama from Peru, an Aztec style vessel, and Mayan jewelry featuring an animal effigy. This program is designed especially for children who like challenges and problem solving situations. Fees include: clay, glazes, glaze and bisque firing, adult instruction and supervision. SQUISH, SQUASH, AND ROLL (Grades: 1 - 3)
Just for you a class that lets you squish and squash clay. Designed especially for the early elementary child Squish, Squash, and Roll helps children learn new skills with clay, encourages social interaction and improves both fine and gross motor skills. Projects will include: animals, a coil pot, a slab project and lots of free time for your own special ideas. PEPSI PUNT, PASS AND KICK (Ages: 8 - 15)
Both boys and girls will have the opportunity to compete separately in a free, exciting football skills competition that showcases their punting, passing, and kicking skills courtesy of Pepsi, the National Football League, and the Macomb Park District. Winners have the opportunity to advance to Sectional, Team Championships, and National Finals (NFL Playoff Game). Release forms and a copy of your original birth certificate are required to compete. Advanced registration at the Macomb Park District Office is encouraged.

SALSA DANCE CLASS (Ages: 16 and up)
Want to try something new and exciting? Come have fun and learn salsa dances for all occasions. Your instructor, Dana Galahue from Dana Dance and Tumbling, will teach you the basic steps to dazzle all your friends and family. This class is for couples only.

YOUTH HUNTER SAFETY EDUCATION COURSE
Hunters under the age of 16 must take this course to receive their first hunting license. This three day course will be taught by state-certified volunteer educators who will teach the basics of safe hunting, including hunter responsibility, wildlife management, firearm, and ammunition safety. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 16. You must attend all classroom sessions and pass a written exam to receive a certificate.

KIDS' CLAY CHALLENGE (Grades: 4 - 6)
A class for children who like to try new things and be experimental. Each week for 6 weeks we will try out different clays, new decorating techniques, new materials, and primitive and advanced firing projects with art work. Be brave and step up to the clay challenge. GLITTER AND GLITZ (Grades: 1 - 4)
Girls come out and spend a fun morning in this class especially for girls. Participants will decorate a photo frame with glitter and have your own picture taken for the photo frame. Participants will also make their very own lip gloss, and enjoy a snack.

Holiday Clay Sampler lets everyone from beginner to experienced potter have great fun making holiday spirited items from clay. Clay instructor Pam Johnson has worked hard to find great items that will fit into your own decor or as gifts. Step-by-step directions will help you make a snowman or snow woman, a holiday greeting banner, sprit rattle, and more in this five week program. Each piece is glazed and fired. Everything you need is included in the registration fee: clay, use of brushes and tools, bisque and glaze kiln firing, instruction, and day and evening lab hours. Maximum of 10 participants. TURKEY BOWL FLAG FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT (18 and up)
Enjoy fun with your friends and neighbors in the Turkey Bowl Flag Football Tournament! Gather your friends and create a team of seven players. This will be a double elimination tournament at the Patton Park Football Field. Fee includes officials and t-shirt. TURKEY SHOOT (Grades: K - 8)
Girls and boys will pair up with a parent for a chance to win a Thanksgiving turkey at this fun free throw shooting contest. The winner of each division (K, 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8) will receive a frozen turkey to enjoy for the holiday. All entries are on a team basis. Register for parent/child divisions according to your child's grade.

MINI CHEFS (Grades: K - 3)
Mix in one cup of creativity, one cup of instruction and two cups of fun, and you've got mini chefs. This class teaches children simple recipes so they can help out in the kitchen. Kitchen safety tips will also be emphasized.
